This is the motto of hotel manager Christian Eder when it comes to food. "In 2016 we took an important step - we got certified. The association Bio Austria and the Bioparadies Salzburger Land are two important partners who help us with the implementation. This has enabled us to enjoy almost 100% regional food in organic quality can. A win-win situation for everyone."

In the Castello Königsleiten your day starts with a healthy Salzburg organic breakfast. Many products such as eggs, honey and bread come from regional organic farmers. The jam is made by grandma herself, tea herbs are harvested in the hotel garden and in the Hollersbach herb garden. In the Tiroler Stube, the Salzburger Stube or the cozy Zirbenstube, many other foods from the region are served - always from organic farming.

The Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region is Europe's first organic model region with an above-average number of organic farmers and a "green" conscience. There are four protected pleasure regions here – for Pinzgauer beer cheese, Pinzgauer fawn, Pinzgauer beef and Bramberger fruit juice. The deer grow up in the Hohe Tauern, the freshly caught fish in the clear mountain streams.

In the afternoon, you can choose from homemade cakes made from freshly ground organic spelled flour. This goes well with Bionade, organic drinking chocolate from Zotter or a cup of fair trade coffee. Connoisseurs appreciate the fine selection on the wine list, mostly of Austrian origin. Here, too, value is placed on organic production: new are the organic Grüner Veltliner from the Reading Farm Stagard and the organic Blaufränkisch from Heinrich. As part of half-board, vegetarian or vegan dishes are also served in the cozy parlors.
The kitchen team also specializes in food allergies and intolerances of all kinds. Lactose- and gluten-free food is also available on request.
