A now internationally recognized and trend-setting clinical study proved that the extraordinarily fine spray mist (aerosol in the nano range) at the Krimml Waterfall leads to a lasting improvement in the symptoms of allergic asthma. Certified measures such as special adaptations of the facility guarantee that the occurrence of common allergy triggers (from house dust mites to dog and cat allergens to mold) and fine dust pollution are prevented as best as possible. The staff in the house and kitchen is trained accordingly and can offer individual, allergy-friendly cuisine.

Clinical studies have provided scientific evidence that the area surrounding the Krimml Waterfalls has a unique healing effect on allergy sufferers and asthmatics. For more than 10 years, the Paracelsus Medical Private University in Salzburg has been carrying out medical-physiological research at the Krimml Waterfalls.
n these clinical studies, it was clearly shown that after longer stays by allergy sufferers and asthmatics, there is a sustained freedom from symptoms lasting several months without medical indication.
